Image
This week at  Digi Makeover Challenge  our challenge is about layers!  So it's time to layer up your cards. So for my card I used the digi "all about the cake" it was perfect because I needed a birthday card.  So this one was made especially for my wonderful sister-in-law!  I can say it because she has received it. I used a new pad of paper that I really loooove!  It's Jillybean soup - gazpacho soup I bought it at McMahon 5 on sale!  How fantastic!!!  I used a bunch of dies (classic rectangle large, latice rectangle, fancy tag 3 - all from spellbinders as well as Dee's flourish #1).  The flower is from Recollection bought at Michael's.  I added some Robin's Nest Dew drops in silver. Well since my sister-in-law loves chocolat cakes!  I thought it was perfect to color this one as a chocolat cake.So this is done with my copics and I added some stickles to the candle and the wings. Here's the wonderful sentiment from  Create with TLC .  Ju

I colored just a bit my image with copics and added some stickles to it.    She's soooo pretty that she really doesn't need much. So will

Today at One stitch at a time challenge  is Make 1 for Christmas!  So this is the perfect reason to start making those Christmas cards :D  I know that I'm trying to use all the possible excuses right now to get ahead lol For my card I had the pleasure of using Wish upon a star from Kaz Kraftz.  It comes as a set with or without the star!  But I thought it was wonderful with this gorgeous star. Gingerloft - No coloring

Image
This week at Gingerloft challenge , our challenge is about not coloring your image.... YUP no color!  That can be an easy task... but you have to use the proper image for this! For this card I fell in love with Cello 3!  I thought it was just the most wondeful image for this type of challenge.  So yes I didn't use color on my image but I really went bright for the rest!   It thought it was the perfect contrast. For this card I used some paper from Basic Grey - Konnichiwa.  I cut the digi using my rectangle fleur de lis, I used the square fleur de lis for the paper under the sentiment.  I also used rose creation also by Spellbinders.  The flourish under the flowers is from Dee's flourish #2 and I used the large flourish by Lalaland crafts.  The bling brads come from Eyelet outlets.  Here's a closer look at the wonderful digi. I thought this sentiment from Create with TLC  was just perfect with this musician.  Because to be talented you need to practice practice p
